Better War through Archery 2025

Following are screenshots from the Better War through Archery 2025 website I created for the Barony of Sternfeld for the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), a pre-17th century historical reenactment group located in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Both the Better War through Archery and Simple Days sites are moved to “private” after the event to prevent confusion when the next year’s event comes around. This is why you are seeing screenshots and not having access to the site itself.

This is the header for Better War through Archery, an event held in March in the Barony of Sternfeld, a subgroup of the Middle Kingdom in the SCA. This page, which was designed in landing page style, was created in Elementor.

This is the “About the Event” section, which includes general information as well as registration and volunteer information. The SCA is a nonprofit that relies heavily on volunteers to make events happen.

We added a map of Hendricks County Fairgrounds with information where all the events were taking place. Some activities, like thrown weapons, are held outdoors.

This is the vendor list and waiver information for bringing minors to the event. It is very straightforward information, so I kept the layout clean and easy to read.

This section included the information needed to register for the event and the day’s general schedule. This was the style for Elementor, a theme the Barony is moving away from using. I, as the current webminister, am spearheading that project as of this posting.
